Gender and the labour market in Viet Nam*

An analysis based on the Labour Force Survey Labour market participation of women is remarkably high in Viet Nam, Women are on average found in lower-quality employment than men, While being highly economically active, women also discharge a disproportionate amount of family responsibilities.
