With the more and more stringent requirements raised by due diligence legislation, the fashion industry is under great pressure to keep up with regulatory changes. Yet, the current social compliance practice is plagued by redundant and fragmented audits at very high costs which results in fragile working conditions for suppliers and workers by association.The STAR network released a timely position paper on Audit Fatigue embarking on an effort to work with stakeholders to reduce and eventually eliminate Audit Fatigue.
