This list of textile waste recyclers and collectors in Vietnam was compiled and refined within the scope of the project “Go Circular” in Viet Nam as of March 2024. Due to the informal nature of the waste industry in Viet Nam, this list is highly subject to change after publication and should be used as one of the reference tools for stakeholders in the textile and apparel supply chain.

The global programme “Go Circular” aims to support the transition to a Circular Economy (CE) at global level and in the three partner countries: Colombia, Ghana, and Viet Nam. Go Circular works in three priority areas: i) Promoting innovation, ii) Scaling up solutions, and iii) Action in global alliances. In Viet Nam, the project works closely with the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) as well as the private sector. It aims to promote CE business models through private sector support and advice on relevant decrees and policy initiatives.

Go Circular is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
