Gender-disaggregated supply chain data: creating alignment for impact

Gender-related risks for workers in garment supply chains are notoriously difficult to identify and address. Garment retailers often struggle to collect and analyse the necessary gender-disaggregated data, leading to HRDD that is potentially not working for the most vulnerable stakeholders. The purpose of the session is to educate companies on the need for better gender data gathering, create alignment on which indicators to start collecting thus reducing supplier burden, and demonstrate how to use the data to both build and strengthen HRDD processes.
