Full Disclosure: Transparency and Traceability Beyond Tier 1

This session will explore the case for transparency beyond Tier 1 from different stakeholder perspectives. For example, it will highlight a new Call to Action civil society organizations have developed, which lays out a concrete standard and timeline for achieving full disclosure and will lay out why this data is critical for HRDD and why it needs to be in the hands of workers and their allies. The session will also delve into why supply chain transparency is critical to ensuring that RBC-related laws and regulations are effective, how gaps in data have hindered State enforcement of existing requirements, and what models can be drawn on to address this.
