Beyond Fashion Berlin

BeyondFashionBerlin is a trade fair that has emerged from the scene for the scene. The aim is to build a platform for trade and strategic exchange, radically focused on the needs of exhibitors and visitors, following the premise that sustainability is not a trend but an attitude.

Following this ethos, the fair is hosted by an association created for this purpose. This collective, consisting of brands, agencies, retailers, activists and other stakeholders, will define the fundamental strategic direction of the fair.

The exchange between the most important players for the operative business with sustainable fashion is lively, participative and desired critical. However, Germany lacks the platform to further institutionalize this exchange. BeyondFashionBerlin is supposed to be this platform.

To ensure that both exhibitors and visitors feel comfortable and well cared for here, and that they can relax and concentrate on their business, we take care of the sustainability check in advance. Only brands whose demanding admission criteria we have worked out with our expert for sustainable textile standards will be admitted to the fair. These are presented transparently and in a way that is easy for visitors to understand.

As a sustainable trade fair, we also pay great attention to acting responsibly in all other areas (catering, energy, stand construction, waste management, …).

The first BEYONDFASHIONBERLIN will take place from January 17-19 at Atelier Gardens (the former halls of Berlin’s Union Film Studios). Information booths, a visitor lounge, silent areas, and meeting and catering areas are planned. Studio 2, with its Berlin factory charm, offers 780m² of space for 40 exhibitors.

In the interest of all of us, it is very important that this first edition is already so successful that our platform establishes itself and becomes a place for us in the long term where we can do good business in a relaxed way.
