OECD Side Session - Responsible digital wage payments

The Global Centre on Digital Wages for Decent Work and the Better Than Cash Alliance are organizing a side session during the "2022 OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector".

This panel will discuss the status of digital wages in the garment and footwear supply chain. It will highlight how responsible digital wage payments can contribute to workers’ empowerment and financial inclusion and to sustainable enterprises. The session will also address the challenges and opportunities for responsible transition at scale. The session will include representatives of the BTCA, the ILO, workers, employers and brands.
