Webinar interview between FashMash and sustainability author, journalist and opinion leader, Lucy Siegle.

If there's one name long associated with sustainable fashion it's Lucy Siegle. Author, journalist and opinion leader, Lucy can rightly be referred to as the OG of the movement, from writing To Die For: Is Fashion Wearing out the World a decade ago, to continuing to push for action across wider climate and nature work today.

Her knowledge and vast writing base is not only used for educational courses around the world, but helps inform a number of high profile individuals on an ongoing basis, including musician, climate activist and UNEP ambassador Ellie Goulding. It also provided the basis for documentary The True Cost, setting the stage for how wider audiences perceive and understand fashion's impact on people and planet.

Join us for an evening exploring what it means to create moments of change. We'll dig into how Lucy has been instrumental in shaping and influencing the narrative around fashion's role within the climate and ecological crisis, from calling out greenwashing to using entertainment as a lever. We'll also look at where the most significant shifts are required today, tapping into Lucy's knowledge around plastics, labour rights, storytelling and beyond to identify the biggest gaps and greatest opportunities for fashion to make a mark.
