Closing The Gap Between Virtual And Physical Materials

How Adobe and Cotton Inc. pioneered a fresh approach to meeting fashion’s growing demand for digital materials
Materials matter more than ever. The fabrics that make up our garments have always been a critical component of the design, development, and sourcing cycle, but the disruption of COVID placed a sudden, sharp emphasis on fashion’s ability to create using digital fabrics and to source physical materials reliably and sustainably in a changed market.

Now the industry faces a new challenge: creating a clear pathway from the power to experiment with virtual materials and the practicalities of bringing those designs to life.

This free workshop from The Interline showcases a new workflow designed to unify digital and physical materials. Piloted by Adobe Substance and Cotton Incorporated, this approach marries the flexibility of parametric digital materials with the confidence that designs created with them can be manufactured without compromise.

Join us for a live demonstration of the process in action and a roundtable discussion of how software, hardware, and smart sourcing strategy can deliver against fashion’s new demand for digital materials.

This workshop is free to attend. By registering, you agree that your contact details will be shared with all speakers, and that you may therefore be contacted by participants other than The Interline afterwards. You will also have the option of joining the Interline Insiders mailing list after attending the event, but you will never be automatically contacted by The Interline other than for the purposes of coordinating this workshop.
