The Industry We Want Wages Deep Dive

On June 21st, Zoom experienced a global outage and TIWW Wages Deep Dive session was caught in the middle of this technical crisis. Most of those that registered could not log in. With this in mind, we will be hosting a rescheduled Deep Dive session on June 30 at 4 pm CEST. To ease the process, we have sent a new registration link to all those that already registered for the session on June 21.

We will delve into TIWW wage gap metric which spans 21 key garment-producing countries and explore how we can accelerate industry-wide progress to close the 45% gap between minimum and living wages.

Beyond a focus on our industry dashboard, you will also get to know other stakeholders working towards levering social industry change. You will meet two organisations pioneering new approaches in the garment and footwear sector: Hear from the Garment Worker Center and Good Clothes Fair Pay, a European Citizens’ Initiative, on work to date and the progress needed to achieve a living wage for garment workers worldwide.
