EU Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum, Asia-Pacific

The Responsible Business Hub will attend the “EU Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum” taking place in Bangkok, Thailand from 6th to 9th June 2023. During the event, the RBH will conduct a side-session titled “Fostering Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence: Assessing the Influence of Responsible Business Hubs in Asian Textile and Garment Supply Chains.”

The Forum brings together stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region to enhance awareness, build capacity, assess progress and challenges, learn from experiences, and foster multi-stakeholder dialogue for promoting responsible business practices. The RBH Session highlights the impacts of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) on manufacturers in Cambodia and Bangladesh and how support structures in the production countries such as Responsible Business Hubs (RBHs) are assisting the actors of the global supply chains. The session will share country experiences from Asia.
