Global Deal Masterclass Series: The Role of Grievance Handling

The Global Deal Masterclass Series on Sound Industrial Relations aimed at strengthening the capacity for individuals and organisations involved in grievance handling, workplace cooperation, collective bargaining, industrial relations during a crisis and non-discrimination in the workplace. In this session, social dialogue experts from International Labour Organization (ILO) and International Training Centre of the ILO (ITC-ILO) outlined the key principles, rights and obligations in terms of grievance handling for workers and employers. Furthermore, the session highlighted the importance of effective grievance procedures in factories, unionized or not, as well as the benefits of a joint design of grievance procedures.
