Long-fibre hemp: training for growers - Winter sessions

The next theoretical training session on the needs of hemp will be held this winter, with a focus on 'long-fibre' textile hemp. Those sessions are  part of the 3-year 'textile hemp' training course organised by the Interreg Hemp4Circularity project.

The free course comprises two sessions a year, a plot visit in the summer and a theory session in the winter. The first plot visit has already taken place, but registration for the training is still open!

About the training

Discover the benefits and challenges of growing hemp in general, with a focus on textile hemp. Sign up for our free training course, specially designed for growers. You'll get hands-on training from industry experts on all aspects of hemp cultivation, from planting and harvesting to processing and marketing as well as field demo’s and visits. The realities of the market will also be covered, as this is an emerging sector.

This is a unique opportunity to network with other farmers and industry professionals interested in this emerging sector. The training includes one field visit per year in the summer and a more theoretical two-hour session (online or on site) in the winter, spread over 3 years.
