We invite you to join us for the virtual launch of the 2024 Global Deal Flagship Report ‘Shaping Transitions to Decent Work: Social Dialogue for a Better Future’ on Monday 25 November from 14:00 to 14:45 (Central European Time).

The 2024 Global Deal Flagship Report provides a comprehensive overview of how Global Deal partners are promoting social dialogue across different countries and sectors. This year’s report presents 14 case studies that highlight the critical role of social dialogue in tackling global labour market challenges. The case studies are grouped into five key themes, showcasing how social dialogue contributes to more equitable and resilient labour markets:

• Safe, responsible and ethical adoption of AI in workplaces, ensuring ethical use of technology to enhance job quality.
• Just transitions to net-zero economies, with a focus on reskilling, upskilling, and labour protection during the transition.
• Supporting transition to formality, focusing on holistic policies and access to the rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
• Improving working conditions, with an emphasis on occupational safety and health (OSH) standards.
• Fair and effective labour migration governance, safeguarding the rights of migrant workers and improving labour market functionality.
