Good Business Forum 2024: Redesigning the Bottom Line

Investments in worker well-being can drive competitiveness in the global marketplace.

Good Business Lab, in collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is convening thought leaders, business leaders, and policy experts to share and amplify diverse perspectives on how we can advance social impact agendas and business results together.

At the event, we’ll get into the weeds of how we can make meaningful progress on gender equity in the workforce and how supporting women workers in multiple ways from managerial readiness programs to financial inclusion to grievance redressal can have an outsized impact on well-being, retention, productivity, wages, and firm bottom line.

The event will feature a presentation on the Women's Advancement and Leadership Roadmap in the Garment Industry by RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality). A culmination of a year-long co-designing process, the presentation will highlight the roadmap progress, a new outlook on Women's Advancement and will lay out how businesses can build a systemic approach toward women’s advancement in the RMG Industry.

We’ll engage experts to showcase successful programs, examine and unpack challenges to successful implementation, and conclude the day with a consensus on actionable next steps.
