A new era for Responsible Business Conduct: Towards the implementation of the CSDDD

This event aims to assess the impact of recent developments of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) on responsible business conduct in global value chains. Bringing together policy-makers and leading experts from civil society and business world, the event will be an opportunity to discuss whether the CSDDD in its final version sets  the stage for a new era for responsible business conduct.

The second part of the event focuses on the implementation of the CSDDD. Leading stakeholders will assess key gap areas in current due diligence practices that will need to evolve to align with the requirements of the upcoming legislation, and identify opportunities for collective approaches to accelerate alignment efforts.

Last but not least, this event aims to bring together all the key stakeholders along this journey to discuss and celebrate this ground-breaking piece of EU legislation. The event is co-hosted by the European Parliament working group on Responsible Business Conduct & Responsible Business Alliance.
