What We Do

The Asia Garment Hub is a one-stop digital knowledge platform designed to help industry stakeholders understand, promote and implement decent work and sustainable business practices across the supply chain.

We aim to connect people and organizations interested in the textile and garment sector in Asia by providing you with a range of tools and resources. These include a visual map of Who's Who in the industry, with stakeholders who have the skills to solve technical problems at factory level, country data and insights, access to knowledge products and resources, and current news and issues in decent work and sustainable business practices relevant to the sector.

We see the Asia Garment Hub as an interactive contact pool for networking and exchanging ideas with other industry professionals. As a user, you have access to events and get an overview on trainings from the industry calendar. As a registered member you can contribute and manage your own content directly on the platform. The Asia Garment Hub also provides a content publication workflow to regulate contributions and social media integration for easy content streaming, consumption and sharing. To bridge language barriers, the platform's navigation and content are offered in ten different Asian languages.

The Asia Garment Hub will empower best practices, foster partnerships, facilitate learning and exchange, as well as inspire action to address critical challenges in Asia’s garment and textile industry. The platform is aimed at manufacturers and producers, brands, trade unions, employer organizations and development partners as well as at journalists, academics and individuals interested in decent work and sustainability in the textile sector in Asia.
