Circular Fashion in Vietnam: Post- Industrial waste stream
Vietnam is the second biggest textile industry with more than 3500 garment manufacturing, Vietnam still not yet efficiently handles the fabric scraps to reverse the value of this waste stream. Dominated by informal sectors, poor availability of data and information and huge volume of fabric scraps is going to landfill due to poor sortation at manufacturing site are current observation. Without actions, the values of huge volume of fabric scraps in Vietnam will be lost. CL2B & RR have team up to build a non-competitive project for setting up the foundation for a circular post- industrial textile waste in Vietnam, calling brands and textile manufacturing to co-join reversing the values of textile material.
