Today, Quizrr, an EdTech provider of human and labour rights training, announced the launch of a worldwide program that will educate workers in global supply chains on labour rights.

Swedish EdTech company Quizrr is launching a worldwide program that will educate workers in global supply chains about labour rights. Quizrr is using gamification to turn important issues like responsible recruitment and employment into comprehensible and engaging content in local languages (about 16) like Arabic,  Bahasa, Bengali, Burmese, English, Hindi, Khmer, Nepali, Sinhalese, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai and Vietnamese.

Initially, a quarter of a million factory workers will be trained. The training project is funded by The Walt Disney Company's Supply Chain Investment Program.

During 2022, Quizrr's training program will be rolled out to high-risk supply chains in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan), followed by Central and South America (Mexico and Brazil).

The training is unique in that it uses a multi-level approach to target factory workers and managers, sourcing companies and labour agents. It consists of three modules with 2-3 short films – live action, animation and infographics and a set of quiz-questions. Trainings can be conducted on tablets or smartphones individually or in small groups and take approximately 45 minutes per training. The Quizrr Responsible Recruitment and Employment training is based on ILO Core Conventions, IOM Crest Migrant Worker Guidelines, OECD Guidelines as well as global and local requirements. It focuses on ethical recruitment, employment, human trafficking, and child labour.

“This industry agnostic solution does not just make it easier for corporations to address risks in their supply chains, it is also an efficient way of engaging workers and showing them how they can protect their own rights.” says Sofie Nordström, Co-founder, Quizrr. “We are extremely excited to see both current and new clients already joining the program to tackle this very important global issue.”
