Effective quality management is an integral part of good governance practices. It ensures that products not only meet high quality standards, but was also made with respect for people and environment. Launched in 2022, amfori Quality Management Initiative (amfori QMI) was launched in collaboration with amfori members and industry experts. Designed specifically for non-food sector where such standards are lacking, amfori QMI is a fast scanning tool that simplifies the quality assessment process and provides a quick and efficient method to identify gaps in quality management. It also serves as an important element supporting ESG risk management in the supply chain.
